    Drueke Building

The Drueke Building is a 30,000 square foot, three-story restoration project that Erhardt completed in 2010. The century-old west side landmark fell in disrepair years ago.
The building bears the name of a well-known previous tenant, the Drueke Game Company, one of America’s oldest manufacturers of traditional board games. Our project was to convert this historic building into commercial office space.
One of the main challenges was the construction of two stair towers within the footprint of the building. This required a creative design and innovative construction techniques to match up floor elevations and maintain the historic presence of the building.
They key to success on this rehabilitation project was the seamless integration of the existing building and new construction through a well thought out design and construction plan.
