ARLEN-DEAN GADDY IS NAMED BRILLIANT BEST SUPPORTING MAN

Congratulations to our Director of Market Strategy, Arlen-Dean Gaddy, on receiving the Best Supporting Man Brilliance Award! The 2021 awards ceremony took place on Tuesday evening at the JW Marriot in Downtown Grand Rapids. Ben Wickstrom, P.E., President and CEO stated, “Arlen is an authentic leader, and an advocate and mentor to help people to achieve to their potential. I see Arlen exhibiting the behaviors described in this award every day. Congratulations Arlen!”

We are incredibly proud to have Arlen on our team. His endless pursuit to encourage diversity and advocate for women in construction is pivotal and we couldn’t be more excited for the future. BEST SUPPORTING MAN

Supporting women in the workplace is good for business. Our male counterparts should be change agents who elevate the presence of women leaders related to business equality. Sheryl Sandberg notes, “The benefits of men leaning in for equality are huge.” The Best Supporting Man award lauds a male leader who mentors, advocates, recruits, promotes and shares in the work of women, with dedicated and demonstrated intent of elevating their equality in the workplace.

Construction on new $19M lodge at Grand Rapids park to begin soon

The Grand Rapids City Commission approved a $14.3 million contract to Erhardt Construction to begin construction on the new MLK Park Lodge. The new lodge will include community offices, a rentable multipurpose room and classrooms, a gymnasium, and a fitness room for classes. A new, separate pool house will also be constructed.

The West Michigan Whitecaps’ field will return this spring with a new look

LMCU Ballpark will look a bit different next year.

Whitecaps fans can expect to see new seating, terrace areas and more by Spring 2025. The stadium is starting its multi-phase, multi-year series of projects and most recently, a new clubhouse is being installed. West Michigan’s Erhardt Construction is the general contractor for these projects and will have assistance from Progressive AE.
