The West Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce aims to enhance Latino community and entrepreneurs more space to build businesses, develop skills, and access to resources. The new facility on Godfrey offers conference rooms, training programs and community event hall, meeting rooms, a courtyard, a café and a children’s lounge for families participating in programs.

The West Michigan Chamber of Commerce unveiled 10 million headquarters on 1111 Godfrey Ave. in Grand Rapids. The facility will be the anchor and hub for the Latino Economic and Talent Advancement for the community, says President and CEO, Guillermo Cisneros. Erhardt Construction has collaborated with the WMHCC on bringing the vision to reality in the heart of the Latino community in West Michigan.

White, a Construction Management major at Ferris State University, is currently spending her summer internship with Erhardt Construction. During this internship, she will be working on several projects on active job sites. This hands-on experience serves as a bridge between her academic learning and the practical construction practices she will encounter in the industry. Erhardt Construction strongly believes in providing interns with practical experiences to build their knowledge and safety practices.

Erhardt Construction has collaborated with Grand Valley State University (GVSU) to renovate the Raleigh J. Finkelstein Athletic Village Arena. The project will elevate the guest experience by introducing innovative amenities and features. The renovated arena will offer new bleachers, seating with backrests, and premium padded seats equipped with cup holders. New upgraded videoboards and technology will be installed to support sporting events. Additionally, the renovations will include new suites for game day event rentals once complete.

The newly renovated and expanded Grand Rapids MLK Park Lodge facility, roughly spanning nearly 25,000 square feet, will open its doors to the public this month. As final touches are completed on the newly modernized community building, now five times larger than before, excitement is building across the neighborhood.

Recent work by Erhardt Construction included asbestos removal, roof repairs, new storefront windows and brick work.

The organization has already raised $1.8 million of the $2.77 million total project. That has covered the cost to purchase the building, complete building renovations and buy new furniture and technology for the space.

The Grand Rapids City Commission approved a $9 million contract at its Tuesday meeting for Ada-based Erhardt Construction to create a universally accessible, non-motorized trailway and greenspace. Work is expected to begin in September to reconstruct, extend and add amenities to the Oxford Trail, connecting two neighborhoods near the Grand River

A couple hundred people gathered on May 2nd at the cleared Southwest Grand Rapids site where the West Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s new headquarters will be constructed. Honor Construction is the owner’s representative, Erhardt Construction Co. is the general contractor, and Rossetti is the architect.

LMCU Ballpark is set to welcome fans with a completely revamped look as a new season approaches. Not only will spectators notice the changes, but players will also benefit from the upgrades. “This was a 32-year-old field, and we took it completely out,” said Whitecaps General Manager Jim Jarecki regarding the extensive renovations.

The Grand Rapids City Commission approved a $14.3 million contract to Erhardt Construction to begin construction on the new MLK Park Lodge. The new lodge will include community offices, a rentable multipurpose room and classrooms, a gymnasium, and a fitness room for classes. A new, separate pool house will also be constructed.

Whitecaps fans can expect to see new seating, terrace areas and more by Spring 2025. The stadium is starting its multi-phase, multi-year series of projects and most recently, a new clubhouse is being installed. Marc Felt has had an impressive career journey in the construction industry. One of his standout achievements is cofounding and leading the ABC Western Michigan Chapter of Young Professionals in 2018. Under his leadership, the chapter became one of the most active in the nation, connecting hundreds of young professionals with ABC.

Over 16 years at Erhardt Construction, Lorenzo advanced from laborer to crew leader in 2012, assistant superintendent in 2019, and superintendent in 2021. His professional journey is marked by numerous courses and certifications at Grand Rapids Community College, reflecting his unwavering commitment to excellence.

Trinity Health has opened a $6.5 million emergency department that will provide emergency services for residents near Rockford and northern Kent County. The new 24/7 emergency department features nine patient rooms, a diagnostic lab, cardiac monitoring, and more. Construction was completed by Erhardt Construction.

The new headquarters would have conference rooms, classrooms, event space, a coffee shop, offices for staff, space for children, and a commercial kitchen to incubate restaurants.
