Feyen Zylstra’s office project was a renovation and addition to an unused school facility. The repurposed building allowed this electrical company to consolidate its executive offices, design staff, warehouse and pre-fabrication operations in one location.

Renovations included a new two-story entry and addition of an 8,000 SF pre-engineered warehouse space. With the demolition of the hallway and classroom walls, the interior was opened to create a collaborative, open-concept office configuration. The maple basketball court flooring was reused to make work tables, old bleachers were repurposed as wall coverings and the library was converted into a training center.
