Erhardt Construction was the General Contractor for the construction of Grace Adventures’ new Lakeview Commons Dining Facility in Mears, MI. The new facility replaced the former dining hall, which had a max capacity of seating 200 individuals, while Grace Adventures regularly feeds 400 people per meal. The seating deficit resulted in the camp splitting meal times to accommodate all campers.

The Lakeview Commons Dining Facility is 21,286 SF and features a full-service kitchen, a spacious dining hall that seats over ​400, a camp store, and bathrooms with showers. Erhardt’s work on this project also included demolishing and clearing the site of the existing dining hall.

The new dining hall has allowed Grace Adventures to gain at least 6 hours of program ministry time per day, and they can now incorporate programming into mealtimes to provide an integrated experience. With the addition of the Lakeview Commons, Grace Adventures now offers a world-class dining experience by expanding its menu and being able to serve multiple groups at once while overlooking Upper Silver Lake.
