The existing south bleachers in Lubbers Stadium (approximately 2,500 seats) were removed to make way for new bleachers (approximately 3,000 seats). Directly south of the new bleachers, a 3,000 SF masonry building was constructed for concessions and restrooms. The stadium improvements were turned over to the university mid-August, in time for the 2011 football season.

This project is the first phase of renovations to Lubbers Stadium. The master plan includes additional seating, new press boxes, more concessions, and lowering the playing field.
