HEATHER HILLS

Erhardt served as construction manager and GMC Architects designer for Heather Hills Retirement Community’s interior renovation and exterior facade work in Grand Rapids.

The project included monument sign and landscape repairs, renovations to the interior lobby, dining areas, cafe, atrium, auditorium, salon and library. In addition, Erhardt upgraded AV/IT, along with an extensive hearing loop. All new mechanical and electrical systems installed provided improved residential comfort.

The renovation took place right in the center core of the residents’ daily activity. Erhardt worked closely with Heather Hills’ staff prior to construction in order to appropriately plan phasing of the project. This insured the least amount of disruption to residents and employees.
