The Grand Rapids City Commission approved a $14.3 million contract to Erhardt Construction to begin construction on the new MLK Park Lodge. The new lodge will include community offices, a rentable multipurpose room and classrooms, a gymnasium, and a fitness room for classes. A new, separate pool house will also be constructed.

Marc Felt has had an impressive career journey in the construction industry. One of his standout achievements is cofounding and leading the ABC Western Michigan Chapter of Young Professionals in 2018. Under his leadership, the chapter became one of the most active in the nation, connecting hundreds of young professionals with ABC.

Over 16 years at Erhardt Construction, Lorenzo advanced from laborer to crew leader in 2012, assistant superintendent in 2019, and superintendent in 2021. His professional journey is marked by numerous courses and certifications at Grand Rapids Community College, reflecting his unwavering commitment to excellence.

Trinity Health has opened a $6.5 million emergency department that will provide emergency services for residents near Rockford and northern Kent County. The new 24/7 emergency department features nine patient rooms, a diagnostic lab, cardiac monitoring, and more. Construction was completed by Erhardt Construction.

The new headquarters would have conference rooms, classrooms, event space, a coffee shop, offices for staff, space for children, and a commercial kitchen to incubate restaurants. Honor Construction is the owner’s representative, Erhardt Construction is the construction manager, and Rossetti serves as the architect.

In partnership with Erhardt Construction and Progressive A&E, Haviland Enterprises, Inc. is commemorating its 90th anniversary by constructing a new $7 million flagship laboratory on Ann St. in Grand Rapids. The facility is set to be completed and in full operation in 2025.

Currently, Temple Emanuel’s new entrance structure around the back staircase is being reworked and sealed by Erhardt Construction and Integrated Architecture. After the entrance and gathering spaces are modified, a green or “living” roof will be installed over the bathrooms.

Crews are working on finishing up renovations at the LMCU Ballpark. Erhardt Construction Senior Vice President Ryan Formsma said construction is going well. “It’s exciting to start to see it all come together and to take shape,” he said, adding that he’s heard a lot of excitement from people who have seen the project from the freeway.

Haviland Enterprises, Inc. a globally recognized manufacturer and distributor of specialty and commodity chemistry, announced the launch of its new laboratory on Ann St. in Grand Rapids in partnership with Erhardt Construction and Progressive A&E.

Minor league baseball season is a little more than two months away and baseball fans will notice a few differences at LMCU Ballpark for Whitecaps games. In a partnership with Erhardt Construction, the Whitecaps are currently in Phase 1 of remodeling the stadium. They are excited to see their plan on paper slowly come to life.

The West Michigan Whitecaps shared an update on the LMCU Ballpark’s massive renovation project Tuesday. “Our Ballpark Modernization project is still going strong, and our friends at Erhardt Construction Company are making incredible progress!”

The planned expansion will add more bathrooms, concessions stands, an elevator, and additional viewing areas to the northwest corner of Lubbers Stadium. Grand Rapids-based Erhardt Construction has been tapped as the construction manager for the project.

The Children’s Healing Center plans to relocate to a new home adjacent to the Calvin University campus. The nonprofit Children’s Healing Center has acquired a building from Calvin University and is planning an extensive renovation.

The Children’s Healing Center (CHC) announced Tuesday it plans to move to a new home. The pediatric healthcare service says the new facility will allow them to meet growing demand for their services in Grand Rapids.

The MMA is moving forward with a huge expansion project that will add a basement area to the museum and enable it to keep up with recent growth. The $11.2 million project broke ground over a year ago, but progress is far more visible than before.

Muskegon city commissioners approve nearly $16.5M in financing for a highly anticipated plan to bring 57 apartment units to downtown Muskegon. Erhardt Construction Co. is the contractor, and Integrated Architecture LLC is designing the project.
