    Ottawa County 58th District Court

Ottawa County District Court held its first sessions in the new facility on June 12, 2006. Our client is glad to be in the new space, having outgrown their 35-year old facility, a crowded 14,000-square foot building.

The new 57,000-square foot Ottawa County District Court consists of two courtrooms and one magistrate hearing room. The new facility also houses the staff of the prosecuting attorney, probation and judiciary departments.

The structure has a basement level which connects to the Holland Police facility's holding cell area for safe and expeditious transfer of prisoners to their court appearances. The main level houses administrative functions and a shared common lobby between the court building and the police facility. All of the parking lots and sidewalks are tied in with the City of Holland snowmelt system, including the top level of the parking structure.
